Social Media Content Creator / Receptionist

Blue Hill Country Club is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator / Receptionist to join our team. This hybrid role combines content creation with front-desk member services, perfect for someone who thrives in both digital marketing and hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Capture and post high-quality photos and videos daily showcasing the lifestyle, events, and atmosphere of the club.
- Create and schedule engaging content for Facebook and Instagram, including reels and stories.
- Respond to comments and messages on social media to maintain an engaged and responsive online presence.
- Develop fun, engaging posts to highlight member experiences, club amenities, and events.
- Stay on top of social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
Reception & Member Services:
- Serve as the first point of contact for members via phone and email.
- Manage reservations for the restaurant and member events.
- Assist members with updating profiles and answering general questions about the club.
- Greet prospective members and catering clients for tours, and direct them to the appropriate department head.
- Provide administrative support to managers as needed.
- Handle day-to-day requests from leadership with professionalism and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Reels).
- Proficiency with DSLR cameras is required; photography and videography skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Familiarity with Hootsuite and Canva is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask effectively.
- Hospitality or country club experience a plus.
Requirements:
- Greet all visitors, members, and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, service-oriented manner, respond to inquiries, and provide directions to the correct destination.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support by performing general office tasks to assist the General Manager and other department heads.
- Receive mail and deliveries, sort mail, and deliver it to the club’s designated recipient.
- Screen and direct calls as appropriate.
- Assist in answering basic member queries related to club operations to the best of your ability when possible.
- Tidy and maintain the reception area, including the foyer.
- Proficient with computer systems to include Outlook, email, and Microsoft Office, and familiar with membership software.
- Typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
