Line Cook:
Blue Hill Country Club is hiring an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team in Canton, MA.
The Role:
As a Line Cook, you will work multiple stations on the line during service, including grill, sauté, and expo. You will also support menu execution, recipe development, and sanitation standards under the direction of the Executive Chef. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Execute menu items across grill, sauté, and other line stations.
- Prepare and cook food items to order during service.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe execution under Chef supervision.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and timing standards.
- Support kitchen sanitation and food safety programs.
- Assist in prep work as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work stations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs overhead and move up to 50 lbs.
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
Compensation: $26–$28 per hour.
